Insert Column

 

The Insert_Column menu function inserts a new column into the active worksheet of the current workbook. The existing column and every column to the right of it at that point is shifted to the right to make room for the new column.

 

You can also shift blocks of data around in a worksheet by dragging selected blocks with the mouse; hold down the left mouse key with the mouse cursor on the edge of a selected block to do this.
